Finally Florence has a small, personal and ultra chic, hotel. J.K. Place is the first boutique Hotel in Florence and is situated in the square of Santa Maria Novella, (5 minutes from the train station), which takes its name from the beautiful, harmonious Gothic church located there, one of the historic jewels of the city. The well-known architect Mr. Michele Bonan inspired by the philosophy of personal service and intimate and luxurious surroundings, created this stylish "house " that unites traditional architecture with the comfort and luxury of modernism, without losing the personality of local traditions. The staff provides such a personal service that it distinguishes J.K. Place from other Florentine hotels, there is no pomposity and absolutely nothing is too much trouble. Our main philosophy is that our Guests shall feel at home. The hotel has 20 stunning rooms including 1 master room, 1 penthouse suite and 5 junior suites; all individually designed in calming creams and beiges. The rates include buffet breakfast, welcome drink, tea and coffee during the day, newspaper, minibar (soft drinks), DVD/CD selection, service and taxes - 10 percent Vat. The hotel provides the perfect bolthole and weekend escape ? guests want for nothing and they won?t want to leave. The staff speaks English and French and can cater for the most demanding guest whether staying for business or pleasure. Our main concierge ? Claudio Meli ? is happy to help you in organizing your tours, in booking for you special restaurants, to arrange your transfers and to assist you with all you may need.
